It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl-Lynn Horne on Saturday, November 30, 2019.
Born on February 25, 1977 in Sydney, Cheryl-Lynn was the daughter of the late William and Margie (Payne) Horne.
Cheryl-Lynn is survived by her children, Destiny (Jude), Michael (Shelina), Kyle (Denise) and Chaylyn Star; granddaughters, Mya, Claire and Kalia; best friends, Chris, Diane, Melvin and Jason.
Cheryl-Lynn was a strong-willed mother and best friend who loved the outdoors and family time. She had plenty of battles but did not give up, made the best with what she had and treated everyone with kindness. She is always going to be a part of our memories and will always be in our hearts. We will never forget the memories we shared.
Visitation and memorial service to celebrate the life of Cheryl-Lynn Horne will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd. (entrance on Church Street) on Sunday, December 8, 2019. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1 – 2 p.m. with service to follow at 2 p.m. in the All Faith Chapel. A private family internment will take place at a later time.
Donations in memory of Cheryl-Lynn may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
