Black Rock
The family of Ronnie Cousins regret to announce his sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend on Friday, January 31, 2025.
Ronnie will be greatly missed by his son, Troy Cousins; step-daughters, who will miss his crazy sense of humor, Cheryl Gray (Jamie), and Bobbi-Ann Lanceleve (JJ Cusack); grandchildren, who will miss all his lessons in the yard and him being the biggest kid of all, Emily Anderson (Tim), Shawn Gray, Josh Lanceleve (Breagh Hartlin), and Jacob Gray; great-grandchildren, who are going to miss playing Ronnie’s favourite game of “Let’s spit in the fan” and chasing the chickens around the yard, Jude, Serenity, Wyatt, and Harper.
Ronnie will also be missed by his sisters, Elizabeth Cousins, Bernice Halloway (Billy), Charlene MacDougall, and his brother Kevin Cousins, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ronnie is predeceased by his mother, Mary Margaret Cousins (Pero); father, Charles Cousins; son, Tony Cousins; and his common-law partner and love of his life for over 27 years, Donna Dunn.
Ronnie enjoyed his long career at Marine Atlantic, good times with family and friends playing guitars, and going to Blue Grass Festivals. His favorite place were family days on the beach.
His special buddy, Josh is sure going to miss their talks, and fun times as Josh looked up to Ronnie, his whole life.
The love of his life, Donna Dunn, who he lost just six short weeks ago, was waiting for Ronnie with open arms. She has on her red dress and is waiting to dance to their favorite song by Garth Brooks. They are now together forever.
Special thanks to his best friend, Wayne Buffet (Denise) who were always there for Ronnie for whatever he needed, no questions asked.
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service for the late Ronnie Cousins.
Donations in memory of Ronnie may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
