Etta was on a school group with me to London and Paris What joy and fun we had. And she was at my daughter’s baby shower. My sincerest condolences I knew Etta since South Bar school She was a well loved part of a group of friends. She was on our school trip to London and Paris. What joy and happiness we had then. Good person good friend. My sympathy to family and friends.
Knowing Etta from our time in Cornwallis, I saw the same determined woman throughout her life. She loved her children and they were first growing up. She met Don as a friend and they found, together, an unbreakable love.
Roberta had the most wonderful laugh. Her joy was infectious. I will miss you Etta.
My love to Erin, Patrick and Liam… she loved you always Don xo
Our sincere condolences to Don, Erin, Patrick and Liam. Etta was a very lovely lady who I meet over 30 + years ago while in the military. Our paths crossed many times and postings. Etta made the best homemade bread, muffins and of course Hazelnut coffee. We spent many hours picking blueberries and raspberries in the Annapolis valley. The kids enjoyed her pool and her great gardening prowess. Our dogs were the funniest pair, a scotty Scruffy and Onyx the Newfoundlander. Don and Etta were such a joy to be with. I did shoot some wedding photos of them and was so happy when they wed. Don steadfastly was on guard when Etta was in hospital. I know he will be missing Etta. Sending all our love and prayers Jo-Anne, Samantha and Armand.
