Sorry for your loss.
We, her friends at R.C. Hines Manor, where Deb spent her last days, miss her terribly and feel her loss deeply. She loved planning social events and was a great one for spur-of-the-moment antics that would leave some friends laughing like fools, and others staring in amazement. She was like no other and we loved her very much. I, for one, am glad that I told her often that she was appreciated, that I loved her and that she was enough. She was tough enough. She was smart enough. She was kind enough. She was strong enough. She had nothing to prove to me or anyone else. she just had to ‘be’ the person she was, and know that was perfect.
I hope you get back to the far point, to soar above the waves, like you wished, sweetie…
Sincere condolences to all of Debbie’s family and friends. I met Debbie when she moved to Snow Road in Ingonish and we instantly became friends. Such an amazing lady ❤️ so kind and so appreciative of everything you did for her. She always made me laugh and we had such great visits together and she was such a great cook. Debbie loved her children and grandchildren so much and was always so pleased when they came to visit. Unfortunately Debbie’s health issues kept her from doing so many of the things she loved best. She was a great gardener and her strawberries were the best! I will miss her and will always be grateful for having the privilege of being her friend. RIP Deb ❤️
