I
I was saddened to read of the passing of an old Friend and fellow Mira Roader. We spent a lot of time together during our teen years sometimes driving around in his Mothers beautiful Green car. McDonald’s was new at the time and we would frequent the restaurant and the Sydney Shopping Center where the Heather Bowling Lanes were. I didn’t see him much after High School but when I did he was the same old Marven. It is at times like this you wish you would have had a chance to say goodbye. Rest in Peace Marven, I was glad to know you.
Our condolences to the Howard family. We met Marven back in August 2019 when he and my husband shared a room at the Cape Breton Regional. We had many conversations over the span of two weeks. Marven was a friendly individual. At the time his diet was restricted but once he was given the ok to eat food he ordered up a scoff lol. It took so long to come I went to check with the nurse station to see the ETA of his food. I then gave him the name starving Marven because he could not wait to eat….especially his love of ice cream! God bless you Marven. RIP
