It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Linda Kennedy-Primmer on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney.

Born on May 18, 1952, in Sydney, Linda was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Bourinot) Hall.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Lorne Primmer; stepchildren, Richard (Kim) and Lorna (Jay); grandchildren, Madison, Haley, Caleb, Logan, Kaylee, Ryan and Brennan; brothers, Eddie (Carolyn), Reggie (Eileen), Glen (Diane) and Kelly (Lori); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends who she adored.

Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her first husband, Tommy Kennedy; stepmother, Mary Hall; brothers, John ‘Winkie’, Graham and sister, Sharon.

Visitation for the late Linda Kennedy-Primmer will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Main-A-Dieu on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 5-9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held in Immaculate Conception Church, Main-A-Dieu on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 11 a.m., with Fr. Evo DiPierro officiating. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery, Main-a-Dieu.

Donations in memory of Linda may be made to the parish cemetery fund.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
