Sydney
It is with broken hearts we, the family of Patricia ‘Trish’ Fewer, announce her passing at her home on Thursday, September 16, 2021, with family and friends at her side. Trish was the daughter of the late Albert ‘Pat’ and Geraldine (Burt) Wall.
Left to mourn are her husband, Glenn; son, Glenny (Brianne) Fewer; daughter, Darlene (Jonathan) Fewer-Penny; grandchildren, Emma, Tyler, Carlee, Allie, Kate, and Devon; brothers and sisters, Betty, Larry (Val), Jim, Stella, and Mary (John); sisters-in-law, Marilyn, Debbie, and Shelly; father-in-law, Murray Fewer; stepmother, Joan Wall and her extended family; as well as many nieces and nephews. Trish will be forever missed by her close friends, Kathy, Paula, and Joan.
Besides her parents, Trish was predeceased by her brothers, Roddie, Joe and John (Linda); sister, Sharon in infancy and brother-in-law, Dougie.
Patricia’s door was always open for a good cup of tea and great conversation with friends and family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed country music. She was lovingly referred to as “Mama Trish” by her nieces and nephews, who she treated as her own. Above all, her greatest joy was devoting her time to her children and grandkids.
The family wish to extend their immense gratitude to the Palliative Care Team, VON, and the staff at No Frills Pharmacy for their care and compassion given to Trish during her time of need.
Visitation and memorial service to celebrate the life of Trish Fewer will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd. (entrance on Church St.) Whitney Pier on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Visitation from 12 noon to 2 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in the All Faith Chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ashby Legion, State Street, Sydney. Private family interment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks at a later date.
