Please accept our sincere and deepest condolences. Joe had dedicated 20 years of his life to CASARA Nova Scotia ( Civil Air Search and Rescue Association) holding the of roll of a CASARA and Military Spotter. Joe very seldom missed a meeting or his training. He would be the first to raise his hand to take on any task regardless of the amount of work, time, or potential for personal harm involved. Joe will be greatly missed for his hard work, dedication and friendship.
Joe will always be remembered as a Kind and Gentle man who was always there for those in need. All the Searches , all the terrible weather , I have not once heard him complain.
Our thoughts are with you all. I met Joe a few times whenever we did any Multi-team searches. He will be missed.
